Viron Tactical is a family owned and operated business.  Even this website is run by a member of the family.  We started out as a group of family members and a couple of friends that liked to shot.  We however had some wants that were not being met by the current market.  As a result we decided to create some of our own products and the first of these was the Generation 1 VRM14 stock.  This stock allowed the user to use ar15 stocks because of the variety of options available.  We didn't stop there on the M14 stock.  Go to the VRM14 progression gallery to read and view the progression and options added as the stock was changed.  In the meantime we also experimented with other technologies due to the fact that we did not like how the grouping of rounds changed with the change of temperature.  That was the beginining of the Viron Bearing system development.  This was first tried on a AR15 chambered in 6.5 grendel which you can also view in the gallery.  We like this system alot so we intergrated it into the VRM14 stock.  We however had to adjust the technology due to the different weapon design.  This company believe it or not was not originaly designed to make money or even sell any major products but rather we tried to give some of our technologies to other manufactures with the belief that they had more resources to work with for production.  We were suprised when one by one they replied with the same answer, which was basiclly their product was good enough because it was making them money.  So we were left with 2 options, work with products that "were good enough", or strive to make products that were as close to perfect as possible.  We have sold a number of stocks to our armed forces overseas and the last thing we want is to send them a "good enough" product but rather one that will make the difference.  With that said welcome to VIRON TACTICAL and remember to keep checking us out as we are always working to better every shooters experience whether it is shooting at a bench or on the battlefield.
